Microscribe 3Dx 3D Digitizer

Microscribe 3Dx 3D Digitizer The Microscribe is a type of 3D scanner. It works by recording the location of the tip of its stylus. By placing the stylus on various points on an object, a user can collect the coordinates of the points and create a 3D model.

The Microscribe can be used with a variety of modeling software packages. For information on how to configure the Microscope for use in Rhino 3.0, check out How to Connect and Calibrate the Microscribe 3DX in Rhino, also found on the Documentation section of the ITG site.

The Microscribe Digitizer can sit on a flat surface or be mounted on a tripod, has a sampling rate of 1000points/second, and has a RS232 serial interface.
