The list of software available for the IRIX operating system is quite lengthy. The lists are divided up into three sections, and the table below (which will eventually be its own page). These lists include:

List Name	List Description
Product Name	A high level listing of all products installed using SGI's Software Manager. This is at the product level only, and does not contain detailed information about each product.
Image Name	A listing of all products installed using SGI's Software Manager, but with the added depth of showing which images of the package have been installed.
Subsystem Name	A listing of all products installed using SGI's Software Manager, but showing not only the product name, but also the exact subsystems installed.

The list below is a ad-hoc list of packages found to be useful that might not have been accounted by the automatic scripts that produced the pages above. Eventually a more thorough accounting of packages will be made.

On-line help pages will be added as time permits. If a manufacturer's web site contains helpful information about the package in question, a link for it may be present as well.

AnayzeAVW comes from the Mayo Clinic, and is designed to extract information from volumes of data of primarily biological nature. Very powerful, but can be confusing to use.

Scientific visualization software using the graphical data-flow model for analyzing the data.
Cyberscan	Still
Software for controlling the cyberscanner. Permits some basic data manipulation.

A free image manipulation and conversion package.
