mol2mel – A Tool for Converting Molecular Data from Cerius2 to Maya

mol2mel is a software program written in Perl that converts molecular data from MSI’s Cerius2 to Alias|Wavefront’s Maya. The data it translates is model data for any molecule created in Cerius2. Atom location, bond location, and element types are preserved and made available inside Maya for further animation, visualization or rendering.
