A quick comparison and tutorial on current multimedia authoring programs, focusing on Macromedia Director, which allows you to create standalone interactive applications for Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems as well as web-deliverables. Many of these programs also accept input and output from a vast array of hardware peripherals at a very high-level of coding, making them very user-friendly, easy to understand, but also very powerful.
