Accurately and consistently managing color between input, monitor, and output devices can be tricky. Various techniques are in common practice by amateurs and professionals, including guessing, and "eyeing it." The preferable method is a simple, repeatable solution for color management that ensures predictable results. This forum will explain the essentials of profile-based color management, talk about how to perform calibration and profiling, and explore methods for getting accurate color from a variety of applications (i.e. Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Acrobat) using the Beckman printers or your own. If you've ever wished the nice colors on your monitor had anything to do with the colors that came out of your printer, you'll be interested in this talk.
