Post Doc in the Microscopy Suite and in Chemistry, Beckman Institute

12 November 1998

Near field optical microscopy is a method of optically imaging surfaces on a nanometer scale. Background of the near field optical interactions at surfaces will be presented along with the capabilities of the instrumentation that is currently present in the microscopy suite. Examples of four current projects will demonstrate the type of information that can be obtained from NSOM studies.
