Director is Macromedia's versatile multimedia authoring software that is ideal for creating web sites, kiosks, entertainment and educational CD-ROMS, simulations, visualizations and interactive presentations. It utilizes its own scripting language to perform functions and behaviors and is a nonlinear tool capable of emulating a web browser. This ITG forum will present an overview of Director's interface and capabilities along with some examples of how the Vizlab has used this powerful tool.
