The molecular model on this cover illustrates a representative hyperbranched polymer as a generic polymerization scheme to give a hyperbranched polyetherimide.  The molecular model was created in Cerius², and the final rendered molecular model was produced using mol2mel and Maya in the Visualization, Media and Imaging Laboratory.
