Surface Plasmon Wave Excited on Au Film by Surface Defects

This is a near-field holographic image of surface plasmon wave excited on 100 nm Au film on glass substrate. The image is captured by the near-field scanning optical microscope at ITG with a Krypton laser operated at 647 nm.
