Montastrea annularis Coral Polyp Cross-SectionThis brightfield tiled image of a coral polyp, collected this spring in Curacao, was taken using the fluorescence microscope. It represents 117 (13 x 9) stitched and tiled images, each about 1300 x 1000 pixels, and was taken at an original magnification of 20x.
