Holographically Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal Grating

Cross-sectional TEM image of a holographically polymer dispersed liquid crystal grating with 20-nanometer silica nanoparticles. This sample was embedded in epoxy and sectioned to 100-nanometer thickness using a diamond knife in an ultramicrotome.
