Hippocampal Cell Culture

Hippocampal cells grown in culture for 19 days in vitro. Nuclei are labeled with Hoescht 33342; the neurofilaments and glia are immunolabeled with FITC and TRITC respectively. This work is being conducted in the context of bioengineering research involving growth of cultured neural networks on patterned growth substrates.
