Surface Plasmon

Bumpmap image acquired using the Near Field Scanning Optical Microscope of a surface plasmon on a gold film at the edge of a Phthalocyanine layer. The topography of the image represents the topography of the sample and the black to yellow coloring corresponds to the intensity of the surface plasmon, yellow being most intense.
